Can’t sleep. -___- Having trouble silencing my thoughts and anger about what happened. And I’m not exactly sure why. I thought I was able to let go of it already but apparently I’m still pissed.
You were like a spoiled little brat throwing a tantrum, and after I calmly and logically told you my thoughts about that, you couldn’t seem to see what was so wrong about the way you acted. You said you were sorry, but you still had all these excuses about being tired because you lacked sleep well guess what, you knew about the things you had to do and yet you still chose to stay up late. Oh wow. The least you can do is take responsibility for your actions and show gratitude to the consultant. You’re not a little kid anymore and these people are not your family so they are not obligated to understand you or whatever you were expecting them to do.
You couldn’t even see the opportunity that was handed to you for free, when most people would have to pay money we can’t afford just to get that kind of insight and advice. What, you think that just because you aren’t in a classroom, you don’t have to behave and participate anymore since there’s no grade at risk?
Look, I really think you’re intelligent—brilliant, even. It’s just such a shame that you don’t apply it to real life.
By definition, morals are “a person’s standards of behavior or beliefs concerning what is and is not acceptable for them to do.”
Our generation acts so entitled and for what purpose? I don’t care how many cars you have in your garage or what affluent suburb you come from. Stay humble; no one likes a prick who thinks he or she is better than everyone else.
I should be writiiiiing. Really have to learn how to push myself to finish things.
